Delve Country Profile: Central African Republic
The Delve Country Profile: Central African Republic was developed through a collaboration between the World Bank Extractives Global Programmatic Support Multi-Donor Trust Fund, Pact, and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Artisanal Mining and Property Rights (AMPR) project. The Country Profile highlights key data points associated with the ASM sector compiled through a review of existing literature. The Profile provides information on the scale and size of ASM sector, background on government’s efforts to develop the sector (governance, impacts and externalities), key issues, challenges and opportunities the sector faces, its contribution to relevant development indicators, and key data needs.
