Bio

Experienced researcher with a background in International Relations (MSc) and African Studies (MA) specialised in the governance of the extractive sector in sub-Saharan Africa and more specifically Artisanal and Small-Scale Mining (ASM). Currently enrolled in a PhD program at the University of Surrey (UK) researching the interface between large-scale mining and artisanal and small-scale mining in Francophone West-Africa. Knowledge and key skills in field and desk-based socio-economic qualitative research methods; mineral governance, political-economy, macro-economic, stakeholder and policy analyses. Multiple months fieldwork experience in Cote d’Ivoire. Experienced in presenting and leading the organisation of international workshops and conferences.
